Tuesday after cheer practice I was getting Jaicee out of the car and she felt extremely warm. I took her inside and was taking her temp when I found a tick on her. Her fever was 102.something. I called Holly and Curtis to watch the boys and took Jaicee in the the Pediatric Urgent Care Center. They removed the tick and started her on the same antibiotic that they give people before they go to Africa to prevent Malaria.
So, it has been an eventful week. Matt's mom and neice are coming down to go to the Jonas Brothers Concert and staying the night here. I bought Jaicee Miley Cyrus tickets last night. But, its not until October.

Been a while...
Last weekend we bought the kids a blow up pool and let them play in it all day Saturday. Sunday we layed around the house. I had my orientation for my new clinical site on Wed.
Last night Stephen started running a fever. So, first thing this morning I took him in to the Pediatrician. They did a flu swap on him which came back positive. It is the strand of Flu that they have to send off to the CDC for testing to make sure it is not Swine Flu.
Matt and Jaicee went to Oklahoma. I took Brian to my mom's house. Stephen and I are here alone. He is really enjoying having mom all to himself.

Back to School
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. We haven't been busy at all, so that's not my excuse. We stayed home this weekend (really needed that). We cooked out on the grill both days. I started back to school on Monday. We have to check off on our skills and take a math test that we have to make a 100 on. I passed everything so I don't have to go to school tomorrrow (yay). Jaicee had cheer today. Grandma came HOME today. I haven't talked to her yet but I plan on calling her soon. I'm sure she is SO glad to be home. Brian is teething like crazy but no tooth coming through yet. Thats about it in the world of Manhards...

Brian's Well Visit
Brian weighed in at 18lbs 10oz. Length was 28 and head was 17. So, he is a big big boy. I thought he weighed more than that, but I guess not. She said he just looks heavier because he has so many rolls. Other than that he is doing great. He got two shots and the rota virus vaccine that you drink by mouth.
Home From Shreveport
We had a great visit in Shreveport. We left Friday evening. Me and the kids went alone. Brian was great on the trip over, I only had to stop once. And it was more for me than him.
Saturday morning we went and seen grandma at her rehab place. Its a really nice place and they people are really nice. She looked GREAT. Sitting in a chair talking and cutting up with the kids. After we went to see her Me, the kids, and Mom went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Wow, was it great! I love that place. Stephen hadn't had a nap and was acting a fool, but it could have been worse. The hostess put us right by the video games... so he wanted to play and not eat. We spent the rest of Saturday at Granny's house. Went and seen Grandma again that night and went home.
Sunday we woke up and went to Mudbug Festival. It was pretty fun. There wasn't a whole lot to do there for the kids. The crawfish were small but tastey. We mostly stood around listening to music and drinking and letting the kids run around. My sister brought one of her friends that has three kids... two girls that were old enough to hold Brian and watch Stephen. After we left there we went and swam at Court's hotel room. Chase and Lacey came over. We got back to Grandma's house about 11 and the kids were exhausted.
Monday morning me and the kids went out to visit Chase and Lacey. Went and seen Grandma again and hit the road to come back home. My dad drove us home.
It was so nice to sleep in my own bed again. All the kids have been congested so at Gma's I slept on the floor with Brian instead of getting up and down all night with him.
Brian has a well-vist at 2:15pm. Jaicee has cheer at 4. We may be skipping cheer today... I haven't decieded. Matt took Jaicee and Stephen to get a hair cut. Tomorrow I have to go register for school. 10 more weeks!! Yay.
Mom took pictures this weekend so I will have to get with her to post them.

Friday already?
So, Stephen has had a runny nose for the past two days or so. Well, last night when Jaicee was trying to fall asleep she was restless because she was congested. Then, during the middle of the night I realized that Brian wasn't sleeping well due to the same reason. He woke up a countless number of times last night. This morning I tried to suction his nose with saline and bulp syringe... but didn't get anything out. Seems like its all dried. We are supposed to leave for Shreveport in the morning but I am not sure if they are sick. Who knows. I'm looking at Brian right now and I can see clear drainage coming out of his nose. No fevers though, thank god. This weekend is MudBug festival in Bossier City and we were planning on going to that as well. My cousin Chase was in Saint Jo working this week and stopped by last night on his way home. I watched Ainsley yesterday... thats everything that is going on.
