Another Fall

(I'm trying to post a pic but its not working....)

Stephen falls and bumps his head ALL THE TIME. Well, today I was cooking dinner and Matt and Stephen werein the shower. I hear Stephen fall in the hallway but then Matt came around the corner holding Stephen. I was talking to Matt and he turned while holding Stephen and he had a big goose egg on his head. I was finishing up dinner and Matt was getting ready for work and we couldn't find Stephen. He had crawled up in our bed and went to sleep. He hadn't had a nap all day, so I'm hoping thats all it is. I will just have to keep an eye on him. He falls all the time and its scary when his head gooses up like this.

Rash

Today I had to be at school at 8am. Nothing much going on there. Just had a lecture over the GI.
Stephen has a rash all over his torso. So, I took him to the doctor at 1pm. Said it was just a viral rash of some kind. It doesn't seem to itch him or bother him so I'm not too worried about it.
Everyone from Matt's work keeps calling him to try and talk him out of leaving his job.
Tomorrow is Brian's barium study. So, we are going to drop Jaicee and Stephen off at my moms house and take him to that.

Saturday...

Today we are at my mom's house hanging out. I did not intend to spend the night here so I brought no extra clothes with me. So, Stephen is running around in a pink shirt. I think its funny.

Matts New Job

(Yes, this is the best picture I could find)
Matt interviewed for a different job about two weeks ago. Today he got the phone call saying he got the job. It is more money than he is making now and less hours. He will now be working 6pm-1am. Which is great. Right now he is working until 5am and then staying up with the kids during the day. He just left for work to hand him his two week notice. He may get walked out and be able to start his new job on Monday. This will be a great change for us. The company he works from now is very likely to go under. This job will be more stable. Yay, cheers for Matt.

Yay, its Friday!

Today is Friday and I'm glad! Jaicee has been carrying around that bag of rice like its a baby. It was the first thing she grabbed to play with when she woke up this morning.
The place that is doing Brian's sleep study called to reschedule today. So, it will be next Thursday the 9th instead. Said they were having some problems with their computers or machines or something. So, we have a weekend with nothing to do.

Brian Matthew

Brian is my snuggle bunny. He loves to be held right now. Most of you know he has had a lot of problems with his breathing. He had a bronchoscopy on Feb 26th. He was officially diagnosed with tracheolaryngomalacia... big word. Basically means his airway is immature. It should clear up on its own by 18 months old. We are still following up with Pulmonologist. He is having a sleep study done on Saturday April 4th to see if he has sleep apnea due to his floppy airway. Also, on April 7th he will have a upper GI Barium swallow to test for reflux. The doctor wants to make sure he doesn't have it because it can prolong the floppy airway from correcting itself. If both of those test come back okay he wants to test him for Cystic Fibrosis since I am a carrier of the DeltaF508 gene. Other than that he is growing like a weed. He is chunky like Jaicee was.

Stephen J

OMG, what can I say about Stephen? He is my star. He will befriend anyone. He lights up a room when he walks in. He has a smile that will melt your heart. But, he does have a side that most people don't get to see... he is 120% all boy. He is bad and gets into everything. He will laugh at you when you tell him no. He loves to test his limits with anyone and everything. He is fearless! He has already had a close call with stitches. He fell in the tub, but they were able to glue it back together. This boy has one personality... Moms of 1 year old little girls... watch out for this boy 16 years from now.
